Paul Hutton

Paul is a project management and agile consultant with more than 20 years of experience helping organisations across Asia navigate change, strengthen delivery capabilities and adopt more effective ways of working. He works with organisations across manufacturing, FMCG and financial services, supporting leadership and delivery teams in project management, programme management and agile transformation.

His approach combines the structure and discipline of project management with the adaptability of agile ways of working. Through consulting, facilitation, mentoring and coaching, Paul helps teams build capability in project and programme management, collaboration, governance, process improvement and stakeholder management, with a focus on making these practices practical and relevant to their organisational context.

A firm believer in learning through practice, Paul designs and facilitates practical learning experiences ranging from project planning and lifecycle workshops to agile team development and leadership coaching. His client experience includes Dutch Lady Milk Industries, PepsiCo, Nestlé and Tetra Pak, as well as global organisations such as GE, HP, Motorola, Sony, IQVIA and Bombardier Transportation.

Paul has worked with teams across Asia on agile adoption, transformation management offices, cross-functional collaboration and project delivery, and has coached leaders and teams in agile ways of working and Intent-Based Leadership. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, where he teaches Adaptive Project Management.

He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology from Queensland University of Technology in Australia, and holds certifications in project management, agile, coaching and business analysis, including PMP, Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master, ICAgile and Kanban.
